PATHways Center for Grief & Loss
Community Grief Resources
"If you want to help someone coping with a death or near-death, there are two things you can do. Be there when they need someone to talk to and prepare them for what is going to happen." ~ 12-year-old boy whose father died in our hospice program
The PATHways Center is more than just a resource and source of support for anyone who is bereaved. We are also a resource to others who support the bereaved - extended family, friends, clergy, therapists, school personnel and employers. Anyone can contact us for more information about the following options.

Good Grief Clubs
Good Grief Clubs provide a safe and comfortable place for students to explore, recognize, express and accept their feelings. Through discussion and activities, students learn about themselves and explore effective ways to cope with a death. They become reassured that their feelings are normal, and come away from the group with a stronger understanding of themselves and how to cope with future losses. Using a "train the trainer" model, PATHways Center counselors provide a curriculum and co-facilitate a seven-week grief group in your school.
