How You Can Help Index

Volunteer - This page describes what volunteer opportunities are available at Hospice of Lancaster County, what training is provided to every volunteer and how to get started. No special skills are needed.

Host a Speaker - Hospice care focuses on comfort rather than curative treatment with life-limiting illness. To help raise awareness of how hospice can help, we can provide an educational speaker for meetings or group events upon request.

Make a Gift - Hospice of Lancaster County provided more than $1 million in unreimbursed care in 2010. Our vision of never turning away a family or patient in need is only possible because of generous community support. Please consider making a gift today.

Support Hospice Events and Programs - Hospice of Lancaster County, and others on behalf of the organization, hold several events throughout the year including its annual Labor Day Auction.

Hospice Circle of Friends - A group of individuals who have included Hospice of Lancaster County in their estate planning; these members are invited to an annual event in celebration of their support. More information on planned giving is available.

Women's Giving Circle - a group of women who make an annual gift of $500 that is pooled together to support programs and services of Hospice of Lancaster County.

Planned Giving - Extensive resources and information on how you can support Hospice of Lancaster County with planned gift vehicles.
