Community involvement
The staff at Hospice of Lancaster County is a caring, compassionate group of individuals who are proud to support not only our patients and families, but the entire community. The organization actively participates with the American Cancer Society's Relay for Life. Hospice also encourages individuals to volunteer in roles outside of their profession, be it within the organization at events such as The Annual Labor Day Auction, or on community boards and committees.

Public recognition
The American Hospital Association's Circle of Life Award, one of the highest honors in healthcare. Hospice of Lancaster County was proud to receive this national recognition of its open and creative access to admissions. The Central Pennsylvania Nonprofit Innovation Award was awarded to Hospice for the successful implementation of electronic medical records on laptop computers, utilized by all clinical staff in the field.
